Abstract

The relationship between birth legth and maternal nutricional status during pregnancy with the incidence of stunting in toddlers 24-59 months at the Tangkit helth Center in 2025. Undergraduate Midwifery Study Program Thesis, Faculty of Health Sciences at Adiwangsa Jambi University, 2025. Low birth length and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy are factors that cause stunting. The prevalence of stunting at the Tangkit health center in 2021 there are 30 children under five and mother who experience 19 people. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between birth legth and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy with the incidence of stunting in infants 24-59 months at the Tangkit Health Center. This research method is a quantitative research with a cross sectional desaign. The sample in this study was 50 respondents. Data collection was done by using a questionnaire sheet and observation using a KIA book, midline and talel z-score. Based on the statistical test T tes with a significance level of 0.05 obtained p-value 0.000. this is a relationship beetwen birth length and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy with the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24-59 month at the Tangkit Health Center. It is hoped that the active role of health promotion as prenatal and neonatal preparatins can reduce the incidence of low birth weight and constipation which has an impact on stunting.
