DESIGN OF A WEBSITE-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR RA AMANAH BUNDA SUNGAI PENUH CITY

Abstract

The widespread use of the internet in daily life has made it an essential medium for accessing information. However, RA Amanah Bunda School in Sungai Penuh City still relies on word-of-mouth communication for information dissemination, which is time-consuming and less effective. This limitation becomes an obstacle in improving the quality and accessibility of information related to the school. This study aims to develop a school profile website for RA Amanah Bunda Sungai Penuh City to provide fast, accurate, and easily accessible information for the public. The system is designed with an attractive interface and can be accessed anytime and anywhere via the internet, thereby enhancing the school’s visibility and promotion. The research method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis through observation and interviews, system design, website development, implementation, and testing. The result of this study is a functional website that provides comprehensive information about the school profile, which can be accessed by teachers and the general public, thereby improving information dissemination and supporting the school’s development
