Distributed systems often face complex security challenges, such as unauthorized access and data manipulation. Blockchain technology, with its characteristics of decentralization, transparency, and cryptography, offers effective solutions to these problems. This study aims to analyze the application of blockchain in improving data integrity and security in distributed systems using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The analysis was conducted on 15 selected literature published between 2019 and 2024. The results show that blockchain can improve data security by eliminating dependence on centralized authorities and ensuring transaction validity through a consensus mechanism. However, challenges such as technical scalability and implementation complexity remain major obstacles. This research is expected to serve as a reference in the development of distributed systems requiring high levels of security.
