LITERATURE REVIEW: PENGARUH KECEMASAN MATEMATIKA (MATH ANXIETY) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI NUMERASI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Math anxiety has become a significant issue in the field of education, particularly among elementary school students. This research aims to examine the influence of math anxiety on the numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. Using a qualitative descriptive research method and literature review approach, it was found that math anxiety can hinder students' ability to understand and solve mathematical problems particularly among elementary school students. The numeracy literacy skills of students in elementary school are influenced by the level of math anxiety they experience, with higher levels of anxiety typically having a negative impact on their counting and problem-solving abilities. The research also revealed a correlation between math anxiety and students' performance in math tasks.
